We are so excited to have you share in this long overdue occasion with us. The gift of your presence will certainly be the most meaningful part of our wedding day. The Santa Ynez valley is made up of a few small western towns and is located approximately 30 minutes north of Santa Barbara. Although it has become a popular spot in recent years, the area holds a great deal of meaning to us. As a kid, Jake spent a fair amount of time visiting family in Santa Maria, and day tripping over to the Danish town of Solvang was always a special treat. Jake’s parents, Ed and Ellen, were also married at Old Mission Santa Inés in 1989. Nearly 35 years later, Jake and I have found Santa Ynez to be our own country inspired getaway from Los Angeles. We enjoy admiring the horse ranches, eating Santa Maria style barbecue, wine tasting and antique shopping. Although it is quaint and quiet, and a town for the old souls that we are, we hope you enjoy the charm of the area as much as we do. Each and every one of you have had such a tremendous impact on our lives, and we couldn’t imagine the day without you.
